Detailed description of Towa Golf Course at Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino
Towa Golf Resort is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The golf course is part of the amenities available at Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino. Towa has three nine hole courses that can be paired to form three different 18-hole pairings.
The Boulder Nine __________
The Boulder Nine opened in 2001, this William Phillips design measures 3,640 yards from the back tees. It features the only island green in New Mexico.
The Pinon Nine __________
The Pinon Nine also opened in 2001, was designed by Hale Irwin, this 9-hole course measures 3,615 yards.
The Valley Nine __________
The Valley Nine is the most recently-completed course at Towa. The Valley Nine opened in 2009, was designed by Hale Irwin. The Valley Nine measures 3,575 yards.

I really have to qualify my responses from above. The course, as well as others in the area, have really taken a beating this year from the abnormally dry and cold winter the region experienced, as well as the abnormally dry, windy number of days they've had for the last couple months. I spoke with the teaching pro there and he said they have not been able to overseed like they would want to because of the extended period of dry windy weather. As such, the greens and fairways had plenty of bare patches. This is a fun track though and would love to go back when the conditions improve. They have discounted their green fees because of the below average conditions of the course.
